Programming, Competition Experience, and Me

I am currently following programming by Rudy Nielsen of Outlaw Crossfit.  He provides competitor specific programming via his website @ The Outlaw Way.  I will sometimes do my own programming to address my specific weaknesses or to substitute where I deem necessary.  I have also spoken to Rudy about providing some additional personal work.

I have been Crossfitting since December of 2009.  My first competition was the 2010 CF Games Sectional at Next Gen Crossfit in Tulsa, OK.  I got my ass kicked (DNF) ;).  Since then I have competed in the following:

2010 "Texas Throwdown" @ Europa Super Show Sports Expo: August 14-15
     Finish: 8th

2010 CF FX TX Games II "Unleashed"
     Finish: Tied for 2nd

2010 All-Cities Open (CF Dallas Central): December 11
Injured in first event, lower back

2011 CF Games Open: Feb-Apr
     Finish: 83rd

2011 Life AsRx Tour @ Europa Super Show Sports Expo (Dallas Convention Center): August 13-14
     Finish: 3rd

2011 All-Cities Open (CF Dallas Central): December 10
Finish: 19th (confusion in scoring caused a wrong approach in one workout that screwed me over.  Also, made some mistakes in the stone workout that cost me a ton of points)

2012 CF Games Open: Feb-Apr
Finish: 2nd in South Central Region, 77th in the World

2012 CF Games Regional (South Central) - April 27-29
     Finish: pending....
